I like to think I’m a pretty cool gal given the fact that I have a pinterest board titled #CrockPotSwag! 😉

Crockpots are just splendid! For all the busy bees: they help with meal prepping when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen. Eating healthy can seem intimidating, but it doesn’t have to. Here is one of my go-to recipes that’s quick and easy!

Chili

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can low sodium diced tomatoes- drained
  • 2 cans black beans- drained
  • 1 can kidney beans- drained
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 medium onion- chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper- chopped
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin

Steps:

  1. Combine ingredients and mix.
  2. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or on LOW for 8 hours.

 

Makes 6 servings.
